The Government released creatures from its illegal laboratory called "Anomalies". These entities were unintended byproducts of classified interdimensional research—experiments that attempted to bridge the void between worlds.

BIOLOGICAL TRAITS

Existing as grotesque, human-shaped physical entities, they hunt humans for their own pleasure. They are entirely solid and tangible, unable to phase through materials, which makes their forceful breaches through doors and windows all the more violent. They do not consume flesh; instead, they feed on the neural spikes generated by human fear, growing physically stronger and more aggressive with every terrified victim they corner.

CURRENT STATUS

The government has since disavowed all knowledge of the laboratory incident. You have been left alone in this isolated cabin to fend for yourself against the very nightmares humanity was never meant to witness.

THE "KINDNESS" INCIDENT

The facility now known as "The Hospital" was originally a front for Project Kindness. Under the guise of providing advanced medical care to the underprivileged, the government rebranded human experimentation as a charitable endeavor. Innocent civilians were subjected to horrific neural-fear harvesting techniques. When a containment breach occurred, the rebranded "Kindness" treatment failed catastrophically, flooding the wards with the toxic neurotoxins that still permeate the halls today. The staff vanished overnight, leaving the "patients" to transform into the shifting environmental hazards that now haunt the medical ruins.
