- 4 to 8 Decks
- Dealer stands on Soft 17 (S17)
- Double After Split (DAS) allowed
- Surrender is NOT covered in this simplified tool
Glossary
Hard Total
A hand that does not contain an Ace, or contains an Ace that must be counted as 1 to avoid busting.
Soft Total
A hand containing an Ace that can be counted as 11 without busting. Soft hands are flexible and safer to hit.
Double Down
Doubling your original bet and receiving exactly one more card. Optimal when you have an advantage against the dealer's weak upcard.
Split
If dealt a pair (e.g., 8,8), you can split them into two separate hands by matching your original bet.
