September 1943. The Kingdom of Italy has surrendered to the Allies. Rome has fallen into chaos. Mussolini, rescued from his mountain prison by German paratroopers, establishes a new revolutionary fascist state in the North: the Repubblica Sociale Italiana (RSI).

You take command of the RSI internal security and front-line coordination. Your mission is to preserve the Republic against two encroaching shadows:

1. The Resistance: Partisan brigades (Garibaldi, Giustizia e Libertà) strike from the mountains and factories, sabotaging the war effort.

2. The Allies: The US 5th and British 8th Armies have occupied the South. The Kingdom of Italy has betrayed the Pact.

Manage your dwindling Manpower, scarce Materiel, and fragile Political Will. You must hold the Gothic Line and, if possible, strike back at the Southern occupied cities of Napoli and Salerno. History is written by the victors, but today, you hold the pen.
