The series was spearheaded by Jim Jinkins, known for other animated properties of the era. Production was a collaborative effort between Cartoon Pizza and Disney Animation Studio. Unique to the series, the animation duties were split across different studios depending on the season:

A female duckling with a pink body, red head, and yellow bill, feet, and beak. She speaks in a high-pitched squeaky Donald Duck-esque voice (which was pitched lower in Season 1 and early Season 2). Catchphrase: "Give & Let Give!" (Heard in the intro and episodes "Jet Scream" & "Boob Tubed").
