Authorities are investigating an unprecedented incident involving a commercial airliner. Radar contact was lost abruptly at 14:03 local time.
Flight controllers reported bizarre telemetry data moments before the incident. "The aircraft was... vibrating," one controller noted under condition of anonymity. "The altitude was stable, but the stress sensors indicated extreme structural duress, as if something was applying immense friction to the fuselage."
Audio logs recovered from the black box, which miraculously transmitted its final seconds to ground control, feature a loud, mechanical screeching followed by an impact sound—despite no other aircraft being present on radar.
Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
