Swarm Directive

The Core Loop: Tap 'Forage' to gather Pollen and Nectar. Collecting Pollen unlocks higher Roles.

• Forager: Gather basic resources.
• Guard (100 Pollen): Access War Room.
• Architect (200 Pollen): Tap empty grid spots to build Hive Cells (costs Honey).
• Nurse (300 Pollen): Convert Nectar to Honey. Heal clipped allies.
• Botanist (500 Pollen): Master of Resources. Gain bonus Pollen and Honey every time you build or upgrade a cell (scales with level).
• Hybrid (1000 Pollen): Ultimate Colony Link. Gain bonus Nectar and +1 Queen's Guard for every construction or upgrade (scales with level).

Shared Dominance: The Queen's Army is a shared Hive resource. Seizing adjacent NPC cells requires a higher-level adjacent cell AND costs 1 Drone from the Hive's Queen's Army reserve. Players can donate their personal army to the Queen at the War Room.

Clipped Wings: War and Foraging carry risk. If you drop to 1 HP, you cannot forage or build. A Nurse must heal you from the Roster menu.

The Queen: The center of the grid. Hive HP equals total cells built. Protect her, expand her domain, and crush rival NPC hives. As a Nurse, you can manually Feed the Queen (20 Honey) to produce drones for the Hive Reserve. Note: Rival NPC Hives are sentient; they expand territory and upgrade their own cells over time.
